Workshop for ILPM Students: Navigating Sustainability with Mr. Mustafa Serdar Bosca
The ILPM corporate students recently had the privilege of attending an enlightening workshop led by Mr. Mustafa Serdar Bosca, the Co-founder and Chief Decarbonization Officer of CarbonSifr. This session was centered around the theme of “Enabling businesses to easily measure, reduce, and remove their carbon footprint,” a critical topic in today’s corporate landscape.
During the workshop, Mr. Bosca emphasized the importance of establishing sustainability goals for companies, highlighting that these goals are not just beneficial for the environment but also essential for long-term business viability. He provided compelling examples of how various companies in the GCC region are successfully integrating sustainability into their operations, showcasing innovative practices that can serve as models for others. He also discussed the challenges of measuring carbon footprints and how AI and technology can help overcome these challenges, an area in which CarbonSifr specializes.
