Before embarking on your educational journey in the UAE at EM Normandie, there are specific procedures to be adhered to and essential information to be acquainted with.
UAE Residency Visa
The Student Services Office arranges student visas under the sponsorship of the College. UAE Residency Visas must be renewed every year.
The visa application requires the following:
- 1 Passport size photo.
- Passport copy.
- Copy of the secondary school certificate or bachelor’s degree if you are applying for a Master’s program.
- Payment of visa fee and security deposit for a visa.
All students applying for a residence visa must undergo medical tests conducted by the preventive health department of the Dubai government and fingerprinting by the police department. The medical tests include a blood test and an X-ray. Failure to pass either one of the medical tests leads to deportation to the country of origin.
Once the visa is issued, the student is required to pay the full semester fee and other mandatory College fees. Upon receiving the payments, the student visa can be collected at the airport upon arrival. Students on an EM Normandie Business School visa who discontinue their studies or transfer to another university must submit their passports for visa cancellation before departure.
