Students of the International Logistics and Port Management program recently had the privilege of visiting Jebel Ali Port, the largest man-made port in the world and one of the most advanced ports in the UAE. This study trip provided an exceptional opportunity to witness first-hand the operations of a global trade hub renowned for its cutting-edge infrastructure and seamless logistics processes.
Guided by industry experts, students explored the port’s state-of-the-art container terminals, learned about its role in regional and global trade, and engaged in discussions on operational innovations and sustainability practices in the port. This immersive experience highlighted the real-world applications of their academic studies, fostering a deeper understanding of port management and reinforcing their preparedness to lead in the dynamic field of international logistics.
