The Master in International Logistics & Port Management (ILPM) students from EM Normandie Dubai recently embarked on an enriching trip to the Normandie and Paris campuses of EM Normandie Business School. From October 7th to 11th, the students, hailing from the port and logistics industry, immersed themselves in the French academic and professional landscape.
Their journey began in Le Havre, where they were warmly welcomed by Maud Fouquet and Claire Ploneis from IPER. The students gained valuable insights through visits to the CEVA warehouse, experiencing real-world operations, and the Haropa port, a leading port in France and the second largest river port in Europe. A tour of the École nationale supérieure maritime (ENSM), the French National Maritime Academy, provided inspiration for the graduate students.
The trip was further enhanced by seminars, workshops, and guest sessions led by academic experts and practitioners in shopping business, port management, and supply chain. The students concluded their journey with delightful expeditions to Honfleur in Normandie and a tour of the vibrant city of Paris. This immersive experience provided the ILPM students with a unique opportunity to expand their knowledge and network, fostering a deeper understanding of the global logistics and port management landscape.
